How the Airpass works

It’s easy! – The pricing for each zone includes your round-trip international flights from Los Angeles, San Francisco or Honolulu to Australia, plus up to 3 domestic flights to the cities listed below. If all of your flights are within one zone, the price will be the cost of the zone as described below. If any of your flights go into multiple zones, the price will be based on the cost of the highest priced zone you fly into. You can add more Australian domestic flights to your trip if needed for just $100 more per flight.

Zone 1
Zone 1 includes the following destinations:

Sydney (SYD), Melbourne (MEL), Brisbane (BNE), Adelaide (ADL), Gold Coast (OOL), Canberra (CBR), Hobart (HBA), Launceston (LST)

Zone 2
Zone 2 includes the following destinations:

Cairns (CNS), Townsville (TSV), Alice Springs (ASP), Ayers Rock (AYQ), Darwin (DRW), Hamilton Island (HTI), Rockhampton (ROK), Mackay (MKY), Gladstone (GLT) and Gove (GOV)

Zone 3
Zone 3 includes the following destinations:

Perth (PER), Broome (BME) & Hayman Island (HIS)

USA Add-ons

Discounted USA add-ons apply to the following cities (add to LAX fare), valid on QF/AA only. 

• San Jose or San Diego - add $90 per person round-trip

• Denver or Dallas - and $250 per person round-trip

• Seattle, Portland, Las Vegas or Phoenix - add $220 per person round-trip

• St Louis or Chicago - add $280 per person round-trip

• New York, Newark, Washington DC (IAD), Miami or Boston - add $360 per person roundtrip

Terms & Conditions

Combinations: (1) USA addons permitted. (2) Each zone pricing includes international sectors plus up to 3 Australian domestic sectors within the same zone. (3) Zone combination:   a] Zone 1 - combinable within zone 1 cities only; b] Zone 2 - combinable with Zone 1 & 2 cities; c] Zone 3 - combinable with all cities from zones 1 to 3. 
Flight Restrictions for international sectors: valid only on QF flight numbers:  008 / 108 / 107 / 149 / 150 / 104 / 103 / 176 / 175 / 003 / 004 / 250 / 249 / 26 / 25 / 73 / 74. Pricing is available for the airpass on other flights also. Minimum/Maximum stay: Min stay: Return travel must commence no earlier than 7 days after departure from USA. Max stay: 21 days.  All travel must commence on or before May 31, 2008.
Stopovers: Stopovers permitted in either direction for an additional fee of US$100. Note:  Stopover cities include any domestic Australian cities within the route map. 
Reservations & Ticketing: Reservations for all sectors must be confirmed before departure.  Fare is booked in s class. Tickets must be issued within 14 days of confirmation of reservation but not later than September 30, 2007. 
Child discount: Economy: Child 2-11 pays 75%. Max. 2 children per adult. Infants under 2 not occupying a seat pay 10%. Business: No Discount.
Rebook/Reroute: Change of flight routing not permitted, change of flight dates permitted for an additional fee of US$100 per transaction.   
Cancellation After ticket issuance:   Ticket is non-refundable.  
Prices shown in USD unless otherwise stated. Prices are based on departures from Los Angeles, San Francisco or Honolulu. Add-on fares available from other cities.  Seats are limited and may not be available on every flight. US/foreign taxes/fees of approximately $150-$220, including September 11th Security Fee, are additional. Cancellation penalties and other restrictions apply. Includes insurance and fuel surcharges.
